Cindy Cruz, MSW, LCSW-C

I’m a bilingual Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW-C). I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park and graduated with a double degree in Family Studies and Spanish. Thereafter I attended the University of Maryland School of Social Work where I earned my Masters in Social Work with a focus in children and families. I recently became a Board Approved Supervisor in the state of Maryland. I have more than 10 years of experience working with children and families in different capacities that include home visiting, mental health consultation, clinical therapy and parent coaching.

I’m licensed in both Maryland and DC and provide therapy services in English and Spanish. I’m a strength based clinician treating clients and meeting their individual needs. I utilize different therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing among others to treat anxiety, depression, trauma, and other life transitions.

When not working, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, looking for new places to explore. I also like to spend time with family and friends.
