As the Director of Operations for Behavioral & Educational Solutions, P.C. (BES), I lead the organization’s Operations Department, with the overarching objective being to ensure that we have the support, systems and resources in place to implement the organizational strategy. In addition to having studied Health Services Administration at Florida International University as well as Biological Sciences and General Studies at Rowan University, I aspire to obtain a doctoral degree in gerontology in the near future. In doing so, I would like to not only improve the physical functionality of older adults but would like to be an advocate for improving mental health across one’s lifespan – from infancy to golden ager. I come with a diverse background in international development, quality assurance, healthcare operations, professional development and applied behavioral analysis (ABA), prior to BES, I worked in the global health industry which was where I garnered specialized expertise in health systems strengthening and project management in areas including finance, operations, human resources, and procurement. As it pertains to healthcare operations, I have experience in establishing and improving processes to address employee and client engagement using data-driven approaches. As a first-generation Nigerian American, I appreciate exploring other cultures and traveling both domestically and internationally. Some of my pastimes include screenwriting and writing short stories, playing the violin, reading, and watching musicals. As a dog mom to a rambunctious Maltipoo, I enjoy spending my weekends teaching her new tricks and baking her homemade treats. My greatest source of joy is in being a proud aunt with three nieces (and hopefully more nieces and nephews to come!).
