N. Zhong,  Ph.D

I received my Ph.D. in School Psychology and a doctoral minor in Educational Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University. I completed my predoctoral internship at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, where I specialized in the assessment and treatment of autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. Furthermore, I strengthened my clinical skills by completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Virginia. There, I provided intensive assessment, treatment, and consultation services for children and their families in the interdisciplinary clinic at the Sheila Johnson Center and at the UVA Children’s Hospital.

I am a licensed psychologist in Maryland and Virginia who specializes in working with children and adolescents. I am also a nationally certified school psychologist. Over the past several years, I have provided clinical services for children with a variety of conditions (e.g., autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, attention-hyperactivity deficit disorder, learning disability, and anxiety and mood disorders). I also embrace a systemic approach to treatment that includes collaboration and consultation with families and school personnel.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking, running, as well as wine and craft beer!
