BES supports the District of Columbia’s Office of State Superintendent of Education by providing home and community-based services to families with children (0 – 3-years-old) with disabilities. We provide home-based applied behavior analysis (ABA) to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, parent coaching, and specialized instruction for children found eligible to receive special education services via an individualized family service plan. Through a coaching model, we empower parents and teachers within child development centers by providing support to help them better manage the children’s difficult behaviors. We also provide diagnostic services to identify children that meet special education eligibility and medical diagnosis.
