Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) applies learning theory to impact a person’s behavior in a social context.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
A BCBA evaluates and treats behavioral exceptionalities and are trained to deal with complex behavioral problems.
A child psychologist uses sensitivity to explore underlying issues that may contribute to a child’s unusual emotional behavior.
Family therapy is appropriate for parents, children and siblings who need to overcome difficult issues such as infidelity, abuse or addiction
In group therapy, a client discusses their problems with unrelated individuals who will also share their experiences.
Cognitive and emotional impairments can develop from a wide range of factors, including head injuries, illness, trauma, and congenital conditions. Problems can be temporary or permanent. Psychological testing can help to determine the scope and depth of any deficits that are identified.
